Caught that also. Wasn't sure how many people watch it since ABC has a way of discouraging people from sticking with a series when it goes on hiatus for 3 months.
The Pixies reference was made by an idiot savant named Gabriel played by James Callis the actor who played Baltar from Battlestar Galactica.
Enjoyed the book which has nothing to do with the TV show except one character, Lloyd Simcoe. Lloyd works for CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research.
