Looking for some inspiration for meals. I'm getting tired of eating the same things.

If you make something good, share it here -- including the recipe if you want.

Please pardon me, for these my wrongs.

Fried Eggplant with Prosciutto

choose a smooth ended plant (less seeds)
cut like you would a fish fillet (lengthwise 1/4 inch thin or less)
flour
dip in egg
bread
brown in olive oil
set aside on cloth or paper towel and let cool

then roll a piece of prosciutto into it.

*be ready to flour the uncooked eggplant immediately or it will brown faster than an apple!

I'm a sucker for French food. Can't wait to try that one, remig. Love that whole website, too.

I'm having quiche for the third straight meal (yesterday's lunch and dinner; today's breakfast). It's truly a wonder food.

When I'm hungry but low on money I make RJ's Buttery Biscuits

1 roll of buttermilk biscuits
4 ounces shredded cheddar or pizza blend
1/3 stick of butter
olive oil
chopped garlic, parsley (optional)

Let the biscuits bake halfway- while they're baking add olive oil to a small sauce pan, melt butter, add garlic and parsley, then melt the shredded cheese, stirring often.

Once the biscuits are half-way baked take them out and pour the mix over them. (if you let some of the cheese fall onto the cookie sheet it will get crispy, which is good- it's the best part)

Take out when it's fully baked and golden brown.

I had custard tonight. Hmmm... custard. I hadn't eaten any in like 15 years or something.

it's almost discriminatory against people with nut allergies that they only offer the almonds version at our grocery store. they used to offer it...get you hooked, and then pull it off the shelf.
