So this pointless reunion will go on and on for at least one more worldtour. Today the Pinkpop Festival revealed that the Pixies will play there on may 30. I won't go, despite it being in the Netherlands, but there was one thing (utter bullshit IMO) that caught my attention. They said that the Pixies will come back to the festival (played there in 2004 and I believe 1989) with...new material.
here we go again!

I don't suppose there's anyway to find out of they are playing Bossanova?
There was a Pinkpop festival a couple of years ago Near Den Bosch and that was free, but I'm guessing this one isn't looking at the line up...
Pixies to play Pinkpop Festival!
Pixies will play at Pinkpop Festival, Landgraff, Holland on Sunday May 30th.
Dates in May and June this summer are as follows:
May 25th - Toulouse Bikini
May 26th - Toulouse Bikini
May 28th - Barcelona,Primavera Festival
May 30th - Langdraaf, Pinkpop Festival
June 2nd - Nantes , Zenith
June ...(tharr be more)6th - Ferrara, Piazza Castello
June 9th - Tel Aviv, Expo Grounds |

Meh... It says "Naar aanleiding van de jaarlijkse Gouden Tip zullen op Pinkpop WOLFMOTHER, PIXIES, SKUNK ANANSIE, DANKO JONES, GOGOL BORDELLO, MANDO DIAO, PAOLO NUTINI, KATE NASH en TRIGGERFINGER terugkeren met nieuw materiaal."
They say all these bands will return with new material. Surely this is only true for a couple of them. To me it's not quite the same as stating that "Pixies will bring new material to Pinkpop." It's just sloppy writing. No need to blow this up.
