I finally watched Club Date. Very entertaining, great sound, good editing and a very nice setlist. But what I really loved was when they "brought it down" during Gigantic.
Paraphrasing, I love when Kim says: "Oh, I can bring it down," and then does. It sounded so great. Is this the first time they actually brought a song down like that and then back up? It felt that way.
Even though it might be a bit showbizzy or cliche for them, I think it would work well on some other songs.

Oh, sorry. I have that DVD, is it any good? I have 3 or 4 Pixies DVDs and I haven't seen any of them.

| Yeah, I thought it was called Club Date. LIVE AT THE PARADISE. I think it's excellent. I liked the Newport Acoustic Fest show but prefer this one. I think it's an excellent show. You're in for a treat. |

They brought it down at the Lowlands Festival (same year I believe) too.
