One of those rare songs that you just instantly love to its maximum effect the first time you hear it.

I actually fell for this song when I saw him play it on a now removed ....:(..... video that was on you tube where he played it on acoustic in a record store in '93.

from the fantastic intro with "oooh thats nice" to the aggressive vocal and great break in the song till it starts up again, all fantastic.

fave line: "if your gettin cotton mouth you better have some water"

"If all you've seen, is violence!"

I've been listening to a lot of music recently, not much Frank,

What a classic song. Even the man knows it. Ooh that's nice.

It reminded me how unbelievably talented and great Frank is. the end.

Loved that Ten Percenter one. I came across some compilation online years ago, 'Frank Black Acoustic (93 - 96)', it has a far better Duke of Earl. That one is pretty fun though.

I just love this era of fB. Him breaking away from the Pixies shadow, his enthusiasm for these new batch of songs. So contagious.

18 years ago yet still the same the old feelings.

Yeah I thought they were there once. Fu Manchu has been flagged with a copyright thingy so if these ones disappear you can download the movies here

I have many memories of watching the man live and two that I'll feast on when I'm old and grey.

'I Switched You' with the Catholics back in 90 somethin' and 'Ten Percenter', from the very same gig.
