I hate that it's going to be so hard to get tickets to this.

Ah, crap... this is where I play a manic little guessing game to figure out whether to go to Seattle or Eugene -- roughly equidistant from Portland -- or roll the dice that a Portland show will be added to this schedule.

Nate - I think that Eugene's a tad closer to pdx and has a little less traffic. However, Seattle goes on sale tomorrow (before other dates) and has two nights so it might be easier to get tickets. I'm just delighted there are multiple dates in the NW, so I'm not counting on Portland getting added to the schedule.

No doubt, firemaplegirl, and I should acknowledge here that I KNOW I'm spoiled when I think of all the fans who haven't had a chance to see FBF in person -- let alone the Pixies -- in a very long time.

So I flipped a coin and picked Seattle... I just bought tickets to the Friday the thirteenth show at the Paramount. Pricey, but I'm happy to pay it.

Doolittle live... the album that started it all for me, the album that sent me down the rabbit hole of Pixies and Frank Black for these past twenty years... so happy about this.
