a) Grand Duchy has been released as "iTunes Plus", which means no Digital Rights Management and high quality audio. Yes you need iTunes to purchase it but afterwards, the files are not tied to it in any way.
b) What gets to me, however, is that this album is only available in the US store :^( |

speaking of bonus tracks, how does one get the Lovestick ep? I can't seem to access if from the cooking vinyl website

for some reason i thought the bonus tracks were only available via itunes u.k., but i just finally nailed them from the u.s. version! were they there the entire time since i first asked my question? unfortunately i had to resort to file sharing (not something i'm fond of doing with my favorite musicians, unless it's the only choice) to track down vapors and the timbers but my conscious is pretty clean seeing as the lovesick ep obviously isn't getting a stateside release by this point. and i'm seeing them live tomorrow night (and then charles solo acoustic the NEXT night) and that's worth more than $1.98, right?
anyway why at least a few of these extra tracks weren't kept for the album astonishes me
but such is the way with frank black francis; just listen to one more road for the hit
