If this has been posted, forgive me, but thought I'd let others know in case they didn't.
I'm in another forum where one of the Creator's of "Catastrophic Theatre" is a regular there. Apparently, they are working in collaboration with "The Man" (Charles Thompson aka Black Francis aka Frank Black) to produce a world premiere rock-opera that is based upon Bluefinger.

Living in the Houston Area, needless to say I am thrilled, and just thought I'd get the word out for those who are interested.

| Thanks Wade, I think Carl posted a link to the news in his Captain Link thread, but thanks for posting and giving it the attention it deserves. What a cool project... hopefully it will tour? What do you think the chances are? |

Ah, blast, missed that, but yeah, little more pub for such a noble undertaking can't hurt I suppose.
Very cool project, again, I was thrilled to see it branch out like this, and for it to be local for me is very exciting. As for touring? I have no idea, I think that's not their normal m.o., but who knows? If it goes well, the sky is the limit with such a display of art within art, right? If I get any more info over the next few months I'll post it.

Hey Wade, no sweat man ;) Thanks for keeping us up to date and being our eyes and ears! What a cool project and what a cool thing that you might actually have a chance to go see this awesome show in person.
I would love to see the art tour... the Twin Cities could use some Bluefinger/Black Francis/Grand Duchy love! |
