quote: I'm liking the idea of the poster, because that is such a wicked shot I'd certainly love a copy of it. We'd need Jedi's permission as well as FB's.
FB's permission could be a stumbling block, but pretending it isn't, knowing this is all in theory: Any live poster from the gallery, take your pick kind of thing. Even shots like Carl's Eraserhead mock up would make great posters for those who want them.

Haha, I knew as soon as I saw you had posted in here, that you would mention something about bidding on my mom.
Not that I'm saying you're predictable.

i would like to contribute but not with paypal. is any other way possible? just send some dollars (i still have some left) in an old-fashioned envelope to dean? others, i will be in SF by the end of the december. i could personally hand my contribution to some paypal-willing fb.netter from there (if there is any). yeah, that sounds fun - i will travel to the US and give the following to a stranger from fb.net:

No I am serious. If you really have a suitcase full of money like that one above, I will fly all the way to SF to take it off your hands.
And then of course donate the same amount via Paypal.

If you're still interested in a CMS engine, (website software), I highly recommend e107. It's got news postings, gallery plug-ins, built-in forums, customizable themes, LAMP friendly...it's open source, and best of all, it's free! |

Will there be a cross-over data loss? I'm imagining that you would have to move the data after the site is down? I'm not sure how that would work.
I'm asking because I have something nasty to say about someone, but after I say it, I would like it to disappear. |

OK, I think we're sorted out now. There shouldn't be any loss, hopefully. Famous last words. I'm not sure how long it will take to do the transfer, but I can pretty much guarantee the site'll be down for at least two days.
