I just bought a bunch of this for the first time this week. It's not half bad. Cheap as hell.

I don't advise going to the supermarket and buying three tall boys of Coors light with a six pack of top Ramen. It raised a lot of eyebrows and had the clerks smirking and making comments.

I had to tell the guy I was running an errand for my crazy Vietnam vet, wheelchair bound neighbor that lives alone.

i love ramen. as in, real ramen. that stuff you posted above isn't even food. i'm not trying to sound like a snob, but that's not even real ramen. it's just a bunch of salt and chemicals. i mean, if you're a starving college student

this is ramen

That looks like pho'.

Where do I get the real Ramen?

I can't afford Jergens right now Darwin due to the depression. I had to buy some cheap ass Rite Aid imitation crap and it does not compare in the least.

the usually offer it in Japanese restaurants, though not always. technically it originated in China so it's Chinese. but the Japanese have their own version of it (which is better)

Before the interview don't eat the MSG-laden grocery store Ramen.
During interviews don't eat the slurpy, drippy noodle restaurant Ramen.

that's what's great about Ramen is it's ok to slurp. in fact slurping is a compliment to the chef.

also, it's ok to hunch over your bowl. great for someone like me who is a neanderthal

Never eaten ramen. I've tried to eat steak in teriyaki sauce before, with chopsicks. Fortunately, the steak was in little slices. But it was still tricky.

i guess i eat out a lot but that's because i'm on the go a lot. when i'm at home i like to cook. i think sometimes eating out is the same price as eating at home, after you buy all the ingredients and shit.

You could serve yourself, Kathryn, me, and your mother with all those ingredients. Hardly an equal comparison.

I may have to go to Little Tokyo this weekend. I've had some good meals at Mr. Ramen (on 1st St). I went there repeatedly when I was on jury duty a few years ago:
