Huge fan. I only get to buy the box sets after they are released though. What season are we on? I have up to five.
I just bought the first season of "Extras" hoping for more "Office' like magic but I was disappointed.

I think season 6 just started. For the past week I've been watching season 5 on DVD.
I like the show. It makes me laugh. But sometimes the same formula gets a little tiresome. |

Season 6's premiere was hillarious. Lots of great Larry-isms. Plus, you got a good dose of Richard Lewis, who is my favorite recurring character besides Jeff's wife Susie.

The season 3 finale, "The Grand Opening", is probably the funniest episode of any TV show, ever. |

Hmm... I thought the whole heaven scene with Borat was the series finale.
Cool!

I've only seen a few episodes of this but it is very funny. Which box-set should I get first to start me off? Should I just go in order from the first series/season or is there one that stands out in particular?

I was disappointed at first but having watched the DVD a couple more times it seems to get better each viewing.
I think the second series was probably better, but I've not got the DVD of that yet so I've only seen them once.

Extras is a nice idea, but it's generally a disappointment. The second series-although I haven't seen all of it-is especially poor. "Ohh, look it's a celebrity sort-of making fun of themselves in an unconvincing way!"
