Not newsworthy but a Pixies fun fact: I saw the upcoming movie, The Kingdom, with Jaimie Foxx, Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman last week and thought it's worth mentioning on this forum that Bateman is wearing a Pixies t-shirt through most of the film. Looks like a BossaNova-era picture on the shirt.
Yes, it's great. Unbelievably entertaining popcorn movie about terrorism in Saudi Arabia that manages to squeeze in some great subplots about federal beurocratic infighting and the friend-or-foe nature of U.S.-Saudi relations. And THE PIXIES! It's a borderline amazing movie.
