Right, right. Thanks for the reminder. I think of him as Brackish, not Warren.

Woo hoo, tonight he's in Springfield. I hope the Simpsons attend.

Wow, thanks tons K o' K, I'm glad you like the CD. The tour thus far has been a bit hit or miss, but a lot of fun. First two nights we played to empty rooms with only the other bands and the bartenders. It's been better since that though. Last night opening for Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin was awesome. If you don't have SSLYBY's CD Broom, you should be ashamed of yourself. Actually my biggest complaint so far is the weather. It doesn't get much over 60 this time of year in SF, and it's been freakin' hot and humid. Not used to it at all. Drains the energy fast.

One day before the tour started I got an email from the place we were scheduled to play tonight in Oklahoma City saying this other guy bought the place and they aren't having live music anymore. Fuck. So I picked up one of those little free papers every city has and started calling every club/bar/whatever I could find a phone number for. After many, many rejections we finally got a show at a place called Cee Gee's just a few minutes North of OKC. Obviously Cee Gee's rules. We're heading tomorrow to Albuquerque where we open for karaoke. Is there anything more punk rock than opening for karaoke? Then Phoenix and Las Vegas. Should be nice and cool there, right? Uh..right?

My friend, Luke, has a band, Happy Jawbone. I've heard the 4 songs on their Myspace page, very good. I put my favorite, "The Sound of Love" on Joe's Myspace profile page.

It's a great, fun, catchy song. You should check it out. I guarentee, half-way through you'll be singing along.

"In the Valley of the Suuuuuunnnnnn!"

I think this is my favorite Brackish.

I ordered th ssslyby by the way.

Thank you internet! Thank you for exposing me to things I would otherwise not have exposure to if it were up to "The Man". Things like killer music, crazy illuminati conspiracy theories, people like the Tron guy... But most of all, thank you for extremely disturbing porno clips that subseqently cause erectile dysfunction for weeks after their viewing.

Sorry Brackish. I've given SSLYBY a few spins now and although it's pleasent enough, it's honestly not better than your stuff.

I listened to sslyby every day for over a month when I got. Love that album. It doesn't hurt that they're super nice guys too. But I'll still accept the compliment and say Thanks!

If you're interested K o' K, here's a link to an interview I did for a Utah paper to promote the SLC stop on the tour. It didn't work though, no one came. It was a really strange venue too, at the end of a dusty dead end street in a rundown industrial part of town.
