This reminded me of something Beck said in a recent Guitar World Acoustic interview (it was a joint interview with Devendra Benhardt):

Beck: My Dad played bluegrass, and when I was quite young my parents didn't have money for a babysitter, so when he had a show he'd just strap me to his back and play. It's weird-I was so into this mountain music when I was a teenager, and it took me a while to realise that it was probably because I had to take it all in as a child on my father's back.

I first saw those headphones on a chubby faced Japanese baby at Primavera Festival, and both my girlfriend and I though he looked hilarious.

We are considering adopting a Japanese baby, just so we can put some of those headphones on him.

I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place
