Anyone else a fan?
He’s making his directorial debut with “Synecdoche, New York”, which sounds interesting

Sort of, but this one sounds bad. A trendy actors' love-fest. Or a rehash of Tom DiCillo. Could be wrong but Adaptation was sickening. Anyway, I'll watch anything with Catherine Keener. She's genius.

Love all the movies he's written. Especially the ones with Spike Jonze. Don't think he can do something bad!

A lot of the 80s seemed to drag on forever into the 90s. Being John Malkovich drew a line under all that for me and lit up the new style.

I barely knew who he was before this thread, but I really liked Eternal Sunshine and Being John Malkovich.
"Synecdoche" sounds kinda boring imo. I don't know, I guess I have immature taste in movies, I loved Happy Feet. Now I'm getting off topic.

i'm a fan. i'm curious to see how he'll manage directing.
i don't think it's fair to say it'll be a rehash of DiCillo. as much as i loved LIVING IN OBLIVION, it's not like it's the first film about making a film. you could say OBLIVION was a rehash of other films befor it. if you wanted to get anal. but i don't. so i won't say that |

Just a first impression, that's all. I bet it'll be great. Rehash was the wrong word I guess. I was being tough on it cos Adaptation was such a letdown for me after the rush that was BJM and ESOTSM. i'm a fan . i'm curious to see how he'll manage directing too. Who's editing it floop?

i have no idea who's editing it. probably someone in the Spike Jonze / Michel Gondry / Sophia Coppola camp.. i know that Frederick Elmes is shooting it (who's worked with David Lynch and Jim Jarmusch), so he's got that going for him |
