When I was young I hated eating raw fruits. I only liked them in desserts. Today I'm eating one almost everyday. Now my favorite fruits are pears (I like them juicy), oranges, apricots and peaches. I'm not fond of red and small fruits likes cherries and strawberries. The ones I don't like: Kiwi and melon.

I remember now why I don't create more topics: You can't edit them. Sorry for the typo.

No, it's 5 fruits or vegetables a day!
I don't like mango, it smells like petroleum.

I visited South Africa once and bought some dried mango. One night it mysteriously removed itself to several different high shelves in the room. It has MAGIC POWERS.

can you elaborate cheeseman? sounds intriguing but i'm a bit confused.
and anyone else notice that on pixiesteve's previous post it has a date of june 8, 2007 and it was edited by dave noisy on june 5, 2007. is it just really early in the morning for me? it's like dave went back in time to edit a post that was yet to be created.
or is that just his signature? if so that's pretty tricky.

Highfive for PSteve!
I like mandarines because it makes me thinks of christmas.
Does anyone else thinks grape is awful to eat? I can't stand its skin that's sometimes too thick so I have to spit it with the pips.

I like all kinds of fruits. Honestly I can't think at the moment of a fruit that I don't like. The ones that I prefer are: cherries, strawberries, oranges, grapes, bananas, mango, apricots, melons, watermelon, fig, raspberry, pineapple

I'm not keen on eating fruit, so I usually make a smoothie or something. I will eat it occasionally though, mostly bananas, apples and strawberries.

I like fresh cherries, strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, bananas, peaches, and pineapple.
I only like the green granny smith apples. I hate a smushy read apple.
I like to freeze my grapes. yum.
Maybe I will grin but I won’t bear

Top 5 fruits :
1- Lychees 2- Melon 3- White Grapes 4- White Peaches 5- Black Cherries ...
My only complaint about fruits is that they're way too expensive ! |

Yes, they are expensive. (So are vegetables, but many of those are technically fruit too. Because of their seeds or so I have heard)

It's five servings of fruits/vegetables a day. A serving is way less than most whole fruits, so it doesn't take much to qualify.
Tomatoes Lemons
Chop up a tomato, squirt some lemon juice and a bit of olive oil, and I'm a happy man.

have developed a love for quinces. not to eat raw, but we've got a quince tree in our garden and we spent a day making quince jelly and it's delicious. so therefore quinces are winners.

I did not think about tomatoes. I love tomatoes. I chop mine up and put salt and pepper on it. Sometimes, I put just a little mayo or a little ranch on the tomato. I could live happily having a tomato at each meal.

durian! i've always wanted one, they're not allowed into the country apparently...stinky, spikey bastards that they are.
awestruck - you can get cherimoyas at whole foods but they're like $6 a pop. totally worth it.

Remig, if you like pears, then you should splurge and buy some royal riviera pears from Harry & David (mail order deal). If you let them ripen the right way, they are the juciest, most wonderful pears I have ever experienced. The "Maverick" ones are ones that don't look as perfect and are sold at a discount, but are equally delicious.
OK, so I love avocados also, and fresh pineapple.
I'd rather be anywhere or doing anything |
