I've just popped out the weird arse vortex that working late and too much travelling creates, to find a whole heap of newness and strangness and DUTCH?!
Can someone please briefly fill me in on the last 6 months round here?
Will try to be a better board member - or at least less of a slacker...

well...
there's a "Best of" Frank Black compilation due out soon
a new album under the name Black Francis called Bluefinger due in September
check itunes for a a single called Threshold Apprehension by one Black Francis
Frank's touring Europe these next few months
He played a show this past weekend with his "new" band and didn't strum one chord
there's a song called "Fort Wayne" floating around by a band called Grand Duchy, which is fB and his wife and...
er...have I missed anything?
Google search a site called Blackolero. It's French, but don't hold that against them. Translate the page for a fun read.
And most definatley read as many new threads as you can from this and the FB Making Noise section. |

Yeah, we should just have the Blackolero guys running our news page. They're much more on top of it than we seem to be, but we have spam and db problems not to mention an interface that makes Blogger look even more awesome than it is for content creation.
In short, excuses excuses, the Frenchmen do good work.
