So, it starts Wednesday evening. As usual I've been saying to people "Oh, I'll probably not even watch it this year" and hoping I will stick by that, but I know I will end up watching the first night and getting hooked.
I just hope they put some normal people in the house. I find it much more interesting seeing how the normal ones cope with the others that are in there too, like the earlier series.
Anybody else going to watch it?

I'm full of self-loathing when I watch it but I know I will. But if it's just the usual identikit freaks, inadequates and wannabes yet again I'll switch off......oh, who am I kidding. |

Same here... Now way am I watching a load of losers act like idiots on TV for their minute of fame... I'll only watching the opening show, just to see who's on it... Then the 2nd show, see how they get on... Then the 3rd, see how it settles down... 4th, eviction time yet? Yeah I'll be hooked.

it's all women and most of them would be an absolute nightmare to spend one minute with.

Thought it was funny to hear "get her out" chanted at one of them before she'd even gone in. I don't like it being all girls, they should stick with the original concept.

as I understand, either half the women will be evicted on friday and replaced with blokes, or they will stick just one guy in with all the women.

The case for retro-active abortion gets stronger with every passing year. Why won't someone write an episode of Dr.Who where he has to go back in time and prevent contestants from being born?

My brain is melting but I kind of enjoy it, that's the problem. Was anyone else slightly disturbed about the twins with the lolipops? And isn't Tracy actually Vivian from The Young Ones?

I decided not to watch it last night and watched Kill Bill 2 instead. I'm seeing rumours on another forum of a twins porn movie, might be a wind up though.

Probably, but you can bet on the twins being topless in The Sun before the end of August.

having read the thread through, looks like a wind up. I remember Imogen's home movie. She was lovely...wonder what she's doing now.

The next Terminator movie perhaps?

Emily, the extremely thick one who thinks she discovered indie music has been removed from the house for using a racist word apparantley.

Really?! I haven't really been watching this. It seems boring, in any case. Is Emily the real pretty girl?

When I first saw it, I thought 'my god, Ziggy is just like Patrick Bateman!' So I googled both names, and apparently I'm not the only one. What does everyone think about the booting of that girl whose name I can't remember? |

despite the context of the comment (seemingly friendly :/) you'd have to be a complete idiot to say it anyway, never mind on a national TV program which has just been reprimanded for not treating racism serious enough.
Fair enough to boot her IMO.

I'm liking the way that every time there is an argument or controversy, the twins always seem to be in their own world, jumping on a couch or something else ridiculous. It's like they're just blissfully unaware of everything, I think it's funny.
I'm glad that horseface Emily has gone. I really hated her. Actually I hate most of them, but her most.
I wish I hadn't started watching it.

Charley was 80/1 to win it yesterday. Good value or what? |

I'm guessing the popularity if this thread reflects the popularity of this series?
I stopped watching it for ages then started again during that 'fake week'. It's just...boring. Plus it seems like whoever runs the show realises that Charley needs to stay in (since she's argumentative) and just keeps inventing reasons not to get rid of her.
Overall I think all these twists are ruining it, the worst probably being the decision to start with an all female house.
