I only own two records by them: the mini-lp "The Blue Trees" and "How I Long To Feel That Summer In My Heart" which I like very much. Songs like Fresher Than The Sweetness In Water, Face Like Summer or Where Does Yer Go Now? are a pure delight.
I never heard the other albums at all. I heard that the first albums are quite different from what they did after.
It's sad they've split. Do you know what the members have become bedrock barney?
The earlier stuff is, in part, a little quirky. Some great tunes mixed in though. The re-issue albums have loads of extra tracks. Looking forward to ploughing through them all.
Euros Childs has released two albums but I'm not up to speed on them as yet. The latest, Bore Da, is entirely sung in Welsh which may be a challenge for some people I guess.
I've just looked and Allmusic have some 30 second extracts to listen to.
