headquarters were on the phone with my boss asking for me to be moved up to them and up on the career ladder but the boss turned them down flat saying it wasn't going to happen and they couldn't have me and all this in front of me listening to the whole conversation! another person was then offered the chance and took it. i just got some payrise candy so as to compensate for the missed opportunity. i left them a couple of months later.

i got fired from a coffee shop i worked at for eating a muffin (and various other pasties). i didn't really like that job anyway

Shit Floop I got fired from Thorpe Park for exactly the same reason. It was summer and busy as hell and had'nt eaten anything that day , so I ate some hotdog outside, but got caught by my superviser. I stil can't believe I got fired for that.
