Don’t you just love a good vote? There’s an election coming up here and I can’t wait to vote! I’m totally psyched! I love those booths with the little crappy curtains. And the people sitting in community centres up and down the country, drinking tea and handing out ballots all day. And then it’s all down to you. You’re in the booth, with those little blue Argos pens, voting as hard as you can. I don’t even know who I’m going to vote for yet! I don’t think it even makes a difference. It’s just a matter of replacing the old bastards with new, willing bastards.
Anyone else totally hot for voting?

I voted today. There was no-one else around. The two little old ladies in charge looked overly delighted when I walked in, as if I was the first to employ my democratic right. This was 5.30 in the afternoon and the polling station had been open since 8am! Sad.

Those sound like the voting booths here. We usually have little old people in community centers or in schools. I don't think they drink tea though. Maybe soda. Anyway, I like voting. I don't always vote though. Mainly for President, Governor, Mayor, and Congress...the smaller offices I stay away from just because I have no idea what is going on. I feel like an uninformed vote is not wise. I don't think someone should exercise the right to vote if they are not sure about the office and the candidates. And as for me, It is my fault if I don't know what is going on and if I don't know what is going on, then I don't want to vote for someone just because I like the name or because of gender or doing innie minnie miney moe.
