As someone who never really listened to Nick Cave before, I am really enjoying this great album. Anyone else listening to this great piece of garage rock from Nick Cave?

When I first heard about it I thought Nick's pulled a Tin Machine but there was never anything to worry about. The man knows not of dud. Never stopped playing The Birthday Party all these years so Grinderman nestles in easy. I guess the thing that sticks out right off is no Mick and no Blixa. Reminds me of Bluefinger in that way. Go check the Grinderman site for vids and a short film by Hillcoat.

Nick's gone Grinders, Charles pulled out a Bluefinger, Kristin's got her Wave. 2007's looking tasty.

Not followed Nick Cave for years but tried this after reading some ecstatic reviews. It is really good, especially Electric Alice, No Pussy Blues, Go Tell The Women and Honey Bee.

I got Get It On from iTunes. It's the only tune I've heard from this group. You didn't mention that one (and I didn't really like it), OLDMANOTY. Should I try again?

Yeah, you should try again. Get It On is possibly the most boring track, it's very sparse and thin sounding. Most of the other tracks have much fuller arrangements. I've only had this album for a week or so but it grows on me all the time.
