I was so excited to think that someone had answered one of my "Questions about the CD Swaps", but it was just a random topic to spam.
I wonder if exceptionally lonely people reply to spam emails. It's been suggested to me that some people will listen to telephone solicitors just to hear a friendly voice.

You know, I quit cursing but may take it back up. Sitting and deleting 60 frickin spam posts is not my idea of productive non teaching time.

Hate to ask a question like this -- because it means I'm either rude or ignorant -- but why didn't you just lock lobsterZoom's account when he/she/it started posting yesterday?
(If I'm being rude, please feel free to take up cursing again just for the sake of the reply to me.)
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

Since I have been having problems with Search, I enjoyed reading the older threads. It was interesting to see who was posting then.

Only Dean and the mysterious Dave Noisy have THE POWER to lock or delete accounts. Dave's off on some sort of lentil-based war against The Man, Dean's on his holidays.

I did lock his account and delete a bunch of posts but it's hard on dialup. Yes, dialup. This backwards country. :)
