yeah well I'm either slow or ignorant or both but I don't get the pan american highway and st-elisabeth connection. I think elisabeth means something lie abundance... maybe it makes you think about the abundance of roads in america... I don't know, im kinda lost.

that means soda, thank you for this opportunity to remind floop (and tell you) that Frank was born at St. Elizabeth's, a hospital in Brighton, Mass., and not in Long Beach, Calif. Not only has Frank set the record straight himself (he posted about this fact which floop seems to "forget") but Frank also mentions it in that fantastic subtle-but-umistakaable Frank way in the song PanAmerican Highway (opening line: "I finally got my turn down at St. Elizabeth's").
and totally unrelated, but providing a Frank-like thrill nonetheless, St. Elizabeth is also a bar off of St. Catherine E in Montreal.

oh well thanks for the information... I never liked the st-elisabeth bar that much; but now that I've attached this frank black fact to it, it'll make the evenings there seem almost neat.

but like I just said, I NEED to believe this fact, because im supposed to go to the st-elisabeth bar this thursday for some college class party, and the bar choice was kinda depressing me.

what are the signs I should be looking for to recognize such a bar? my only west-coast beach memory is of a dead cow on the sand... well maybe it wasn't exactly a cow, because it was 2 a.m. and we couldn't see well, and also we were all blind drunk. might have been a goat.
