Hola todos,

I'm eating now after one of my greatest gigs ever. Some friend of mine asked me if I want to go with him to see the Melvins. Never heard something from them. So, ok, give me some Cds so I can figure out what's the wibe.
Man, this band is awsome live!! What a punch in my face. Someone knows them?

Melvins were my first concert. They rocked hardcore.

Another band that I quite like because my husband plays them so often.
We've never seen them live though, you're lucky.

I saw this band for five years before I ever owned a recording or even knew a song name of their's. They are the best live band I ever did see. Their tour last year with the Biz was really great, definitely in my top 3 shows ever.

Funny you posted this. I was just thinking today about the time I saw the Melvins in Anaheim. They got booed off the stage. They were opening for Mr. Bungle and had some amp problems. After attempting to resume, the crowd got sick of waiting and started razzing them pretty hard. Finally, they gave up.

Mr. Bungle came on, played a short, uninspired set and basically told the crowd to piss off. Everybody left unhappy. The only good thing about the night was this band I had never heard of, Grotus. They completely kicked ass.

A few years later, I saw one of the Melvins in front of me in line at an ATM and mentioned that show. He laughed about it.

Oh man, this must have been the chaos theory in a bad way. I'm lucky that I've never had such an experience.
Last saturday the crowd was ok and the band was ok. They were playing song after song like "we have a train to catch". I told a friend "This song is pretty long and versatile.". And he said "No, it's the third song in a row."

Saw them in Manchester last year and they were easily one of the best bands I've ever seen live. Big Business is also worth checking out if you're a new Melvins fan.

There were two bands playing before the Melvins. Both were amazing. The drumer of The Melvins plays with Big Business right? Well, if you like drums you have to love this. What an animal!! I was wondering if the drum set will still be in one piece after the show.
Excellent..

Their other drummer is good too. You can't beat bands with two drummers.

I saw them in December for the first time and they were awesome. Looking forward to seeing them again in Barcelona in May.
