not really. he named a few inspirations (dylan, beatles, pop, donovan). the last video game he played was 'the sims', bob 'someone' suke was a Thai rock musician who showed fB how to holler like a bitch back in the day... |

The background music is very loud and anoying, I cant hear very well what he says. But that's funny when he says he copied a bit Billy Idol because they gave him a metal version ! If it was an all synth version he would have had a kraftwerk voice ? |

I think they should have put that background music at full volume. Who cares about what Frank has to say.

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking.
Also, why "Frank Black from the Pixies"? FB is not from the Pixies, he's from Charles Thompson!

This background music thing is becoming pervasive. I notice it all the time - I bet it's some intern or kid fresh out of college they get to edit these things, and they think it's more important for people to hear their favorite song or music they created in the background than the actual content.
It happens in radio commercials all the time. There's a commercial I hear like 3 times a day, and I still have no idea what it's advertising because the background music is so distracting. Ugh.

It's such an MTV-Generation thing. Nobody's interested in what the artist has to say, just pump the background music up to keep the vibe going! |

hah that's awful floop. it's bearable at the start, but by 1:20, i can't actually hear anything but the music and a few mumbles. is it a joke?

Haha!! I really can't believe that. The music drowns out most of interview completely except the DJ's intro/outro. |
