Anyone seeing this tour? I just saw these bands last night in Union Hall in NY it was a pretty awsome show. Got 4 of the bishop allen members to sign my t-shirt too. it was a very small concert too which was awsome like around 100 ppl maybe and all the bands just hung out the whole time real cool stuff. I would talk about the songs but im not sure if there are any fans here check out bishopallen.com tho to see if theyre coming near you.
Been a big Bishop Allen fan since 2003's Charm School. Great album, and a great live band. Shame the tour isn't heading all the way to SF. In 2006 they embarked on just about the most ambitious self-released EP project I can think of: they released an EP every month. That's 12 EPs in 12 months, all without a label. (As for me, I released just one EP in 2006 and found it exhausting.) I definitely recommend seeing them if you can.
