| Does anyone have any late-breaking news on if the Pixies actually went into a studio in January-February and if the "record" button was pushed on??? I cannot find anything regarding to this. I would imaging that this is a good sign. Because if nothing came out of these sessions, we would have heard by now! But if songs are being recorded, Frank would not want any info to leak out, wouldn't you think? I think the consensus of us Pixie-maniacs is that Frank likes to keep things shrouded in mystery when it comes to the Pixies, right? |

Why the hesitancy?
"Lots of reasons," he said. "Some people don't want to make a bad record. They don't want to mess with the gospel. I think that's part of it. Part of it's not real yet. If it's just a reunion tour where you're getting together for old times' sake and playing the old songs, that's a different scenario than getting into a rehearsal space and trying to create something new. Different kind of headspace. Some people in the band don't want to force it. They want it to be friendly like, for all the right reasons."

| Pixmei, I'm not sure, but those last quotes Daisy Girl posted were taken from a recent interview. So i guess there hasn't been much of a development on that front? |
