I have some homemade glue that my wife made while on a paper mache extravaganza that lasted about one day. The glue is still there a week later :(

Do you have anything strange, weird or life-threatening in your fridge?

A homemade vegetarian curry that includes cauliflower and carrots. "What, no meat?" Yukky!

eh? carrots have no place at the dinner table, never mind in a curry. That's just gross.

Llama, tell that to my girlfriend's mum. No, seriously, please tell her. I ate some in the dark last night out of hunger. I'd been looking forward to it all day after she promised to make us some, we opened the tupperware lid and there they were; veggies ruining a potentially delicious curry.

I was going to ask for your girlfriend's mother's phone number...but...well...that just seems wrong somehow ;)

my parents have... THREE fridges. dotted about all over the place. it's crazy. there's not even a proper system going on. i thoguht one was the "drinks fridge" but when looking for lettuce and tomato for a sandwich, it was in that fridge. it's very confusing.

The light switch in my fridge broke five years ago, the week we bought the fridge. You can't shut the door unless you tape down the switch. But that means the light never comes on. For whatever reason, having a lightless fridge is a bit of a psychological downer. When I'm at others' houses, and I see light, I'm happy for a moment, and then jealous. And when the tape comes off on mine, and there's light, I get kinda happy. But then I have to tape it again so I can shut the door. I bet the repair would cost about $2, but I've never bothered to look into it. I guess that should be my New Year's resolution.

you have dark in your fridge? I can see how that would be a downer, although it may prevent you from seeing any potential carrots in your curry.

Pixiesteve, do your parents live by themselves (well, and their three fridges)? This does seem kind of bizarre, although it would be more on-topic if they were like Russian doll fridges.

haha. well... we used to have one small fridge. and a freezer in the garage. then they took my grandad's fridge freezer combo when he died, for extra stuff (placed in the garage). when they moved they took all 3, but there was one fridge already there. so they have one fridge in kitchen, the combo in the larder, a fridge in the utility room and the freezer in the garage. fuck it's confusing. yep, they are hoarders. and yep they live alone. in a weird devon village.

if you want me to be more on topic.. well... that's probably even less interesting than what i've just said.

There might be one of those in mine, too, but it's too dark to tell.

I found a stick of gum and a Hot Wheels car in there the other day. My kids' explanation: They wanted to know which one would cool faster. They've been watching too much "MythBusters."

Please pardon me, for these my wrongs.

Have you not taught your kids that you should never put anything hot into the fridge?

To be fair, 'MythBusters' would probably be enough to make me want to put a Hot Wheels car in the fridge. If I still had a Hot Wheels car, which I don't .

I'm beginning to suspect Wrenn may be hiding in my fridge.

By the way, Mythbusters is great anyway, but there is one special reason to watch it; Kari Byron!

I also have her in my fridge. Did you see the one where they painted her like the Tin Man, Carl? Saw that one just yesterday. Yowzers.

Nope, but I'd like to try out a few 'experiments' with her myself.

Oh, that's so locker room.
