Seeing how the WOXY appearance got you all so excited and apologies if you all know about this appearance from June 99 but it's the best, most relaxed radio appearance I've heard of Frank's. Plus you get to hear about 10 or 11 songs he's 'obsessed about' over the years. The live accoustic renditions of So. Bay and Abstract Plain to name but two are astonishing. All my Ghosts, I Gotta Move, Wave and This Is Where I Belong also feature. kcrw.com, Open Road, runtime 'bout an hour

It's Real Player stream only. A free program like Audacity will let you make your own mp3.
KCRW's blurb
SUN, JUN 20, 1999, 12:00A-3:00A Open Road Frank Black Host: Gary Calamar
Adventurous pop rocker, Frank Black will be Gary's guest in the 9 o'clock hour. The former Pixies lead singer/songwriter will perform a few songs acoustically as well as guest DJ, playing songs from his collection that have excited and inspired him.
