The spelling of "two" is mind-boggling. I don't believe that there is any other English word in which a 'w' followed by a 't' is silent. Also, I like music. And ninth chords are fantastic. And a ninth is essentially a second plus an octave. The Virginia Tech Multimedia Music Dictionary states that it is not necessary for a ninth chord to have five tones; the term "ninth chord" simply denotes a chord in which the interval between the base note and the highest note is a ninth. I prefer ninth chords with the seventh omitted. Hail scale degree 2; ignore the inferior scale degree 7.
