Break My Body, covered by Hanne Hukkelberg and Here Comes Your Man covered by Kate Rogers. I'd like to hear Kim sing these (or other exclusively Charles songs) sometime.
The Here Comes your Man cover is quite nice. It almost sounds like how you'd expect it to sound if Frank had sung it in his solo career days instead of as the Pixies. Its a wee bit bland and almost too French sounding but its a nice laid back cover.
The Break my Body cover I don't like quite as much. Its far far too slow paced and drab for a pixies song. Doesn't do it for me.
Yeah, I thought that both covers were pretty okay. Another one that I like a lot is the Local H version of Tame. The Silver cover on the Hey Tribute album that they just played on the podcast is amazing as well. I wonder if there is a thread here on the best Pixies covers.
