Anybody dressing up as someone from a Frank Black or Pixies song for Halloween? I was trying to think of something, but couldn't come up with any easy ones right away. Gyaneshwar? Billy Radcliffe? The chick from No. 13 Baby? The St. Francis Dam?

When do I get my first bee, damnit?

I had my annual party last night - the theme was "famous dead people." It was pretty great.

I went as Liberace, and some other costume highlights included 2 (two) Christopher Reeves, Queen Elizabeth I, Bob Ross, Chris Farley, Sid and Nancy, Mother Theresa, Yassir Arafat, 2 Mr. Rogers, Julia Child, Bugsy Malone, James Dean and, my personal favorite, Jean Benet Ramsey. Totally offensive and hillarious.

I'll post a Liberace pic soon.

I want pictures of the whole thing, damn it!

We also had a Halloween party last night at our pub:

Not that any of this has anything to do with an FB-themed costume.

Yeah no FB related costumes here either.
Had a couple of parties to go to, Mike & I were supposed to go as vikings but he got hockey tix and jammed out so my bro was the stand-in.

Me & my bro hamming it up;

Even my mom got into it;

The perfect Christmas card photo.

Dear Everyone,
We had a very eventful year at the house. The kids are growing, the garden this summer was wonderful, and I decapitated mom after more of her whining. Things couldn't be better. Come see us if you're in town.

Turns out my son is wearing a skeleton costume. So he's from the FB song Skeleton Man. My other son is a pirate. According to the fb.net Discopedia, there isn't a single FB song with the word "pirate" in the lyrics or title.

Didn't seem to be many kids out this year here, either.I came back from getting shopping-including some goodies for the trick or treaters-just in time for a a bunch of little ghouls and ghosts. The number of kids going out each year seems to be decreasing, although there was probably the same amount as last year. When I was small, Halloween was a big deal, lots of kids went out every year.

Yeah, there used to be a ton of kids.
It seems that alot of parents take their kids to the shopping malls to trick or treat which I think is beyond completely lame.

The neighborhood I took my kids to last night was PACKED with trick-or-treaters. I've never seen anything like it. It's a brand-new neighborhood, close to the older established neighborhood I live in, and nearly every house has elementary-aged children. So it was a goddamn zoo. It really worked out for me and the kids -- since nearly every house delivered the goods, we didn't have to put in a lot of time to score a lot of loot.

So all of you who say there are fewer kids, I think they came to where I was last night.

I could not find my honeycomb.

Yeah, I had six kids and gave them like 10-12 chocolate bars each. One of them proclaimed me "a hero". My work was done.

You know, when I was travelling with a bunch of Australians, a great number of them had no idea what floss was. I even taught a guy how to do it. So you English aren't alone at least. :)
