23 August 2005 PIXIES ~ Lansdowne Rd, Dublin. I was there. Flew thousands of miles to see them. How time flies. It was fantastic and worth every cent. Would love to see them live at least one more time..
Anybody else go to this one?

Yep , was there. A cracking evening had by all.
Well poor Frank got soaked when the tarpaulin which had caught all the rain buckled and gave him a surprising refreshment. Still he handled it all very well.
Could have been the last PIXIES irish gig, sad thought. Still hopefully Frank will grace us when he finishes up on the US tour. |

Shit, It's a year ago today? I took pics with a disposable camera....needless to say, they're absolutely useless (I also took a few snaps of the meet up with Dean, Barry (therewererumours) and Bazza at the end of the roll, but they did'nt bloody come out at all!), but I could post a few of the 'okay' ones. It was too dark, for a start, and I was (relatively) too far back. The only really postable pics are ones of the video screens!
Oh yeah, has anyone seen this before?! I was actually standing not too far from here:

One year ago today, yeah, first of two Pixies nights in Ally Pally.
And yeah, Cardiff would be lovely for an FB gig hahaha. Nowhere but the Barfly though, really, is there? |

The sound was totally shit at the Lansdowne gig unfortunately, the sound was far better at the phoenix park - although the drawback there was that they were 'support'.. If only we could have had the good qualities from each gig it would have been perfect |
