Hardly any of the new CD, which is really ,so-so. Mostly his great tunes.

You know what, Brank? YOU'RE RIGHT! I spoke (wrote) too soon. Been listening a lot more to FMRM and it truly is "amazing"! Frank never ceases to "AMAZE" w/ his out put.

After several listens, I quite like the new cd. FB's stuff often grows on me more by the listen. I didn't enjoy all of Show me your tears and Black letter days when I first heard them and now I would almost say they are my two favorite of his albums (though I hate picking favorites). I find myself liking Fastman/Rman more with each listen and I just got around to buying it a week or so ago.

I remember during the time of Black Letter Days / Devil's Workshop at a show in NYC a girl complained about FB being 'too country' and I felt she should be kicked in the face or taco. I played my Mother some stuff from Black Letter Days / SMYT / and Fastman/Rman the other day and she said it was the best recent music she'd heard.
