One of mine is Phish.

Due to my present condition and predicaments of being a crippled as a result of the fatal accident that I had, I am not able to carry out this contract because I can only walk on a wheel chair.

The world would be a better place without Nickelback and all "young country" outfits.

Ha! Yeah, that's another band that didn't need to happen. I remember this kid at work asking me if I wanted to borrow his copy of Puddle Of Mudd. I told him I already owned a copy of Nirvana's Bleach. He didn't get it and just stared at me like an idiot.

I know it's cool to not like U2, but I think The Joshua Tree is pure genius.

Dude! That was AWESOME!! Portugal knows when enough is enough. I epecially liked the last shot to the head. When he asks everybody if they want to go home is funny too cuz Nickelback couldn't have possibly been the headliner. Everybody wants them to get off the stage so Menudo can do their thing. Ha!

They're like terrible. The leader dude wants sooo bad to be Hetfield.

Thanks for that!

A lot of those 90's "alternative" bands-- you know like most of those on that info-mercial for i think its alternative power ballads or something. but I think the one that takes the cake for me is Marlyn Manson. He's so creepy and he just seems really evil.

Well Prodigy were pretty poor at Reading in 2003, but I have seen them since and they were amazing, so I still love them.

Oh sorry you said reading, not Reading.

exactly why shouldn't one like Phish? I believe that's a band you should like, even moreso than Wilco. Perhaps you posted this in the wrong topic? Tell me why I shouldn't like Phish. I can think of hundreds of bands fitting for this list, doesn't include Phish. You got something against the Phish or something? Are they too into being incredible musicians or something? Incredible musicians are so overrated.

LOL I had always heard that Marlyn Manson was satinist (sp?). Maybe it's all persona, but to me it seems like he's really into that stuff. When ever I listen to his songs I get this really creepy feeling. I listen to other bands that are dark Misfits/Danzig/Bauhaus and that doen't creep me out.

Anyway back on topic, I would say Coldplay. Their first album was decent but I am not sure how they got to legendary status.

If formless noodling is amazing then Phish is the greatest band that ever existed.
