I am trying to contact HOB to see if I can get their permission to tape. guest list would be very nice in this case. I am trying to hand deliver a copy of his show (For Errol) to frank personally. Wife and I met him with the Catholics in 2002 but don't know how I'm gonna get back there this year.

Just a quick note to see if you're still around. Please let me know about passes, as there is a bunch to still work out.
...And if I'm right, the urban plight is not the problem. |

Ok, well, I got my tickets, and dyperman is nice enough to get me a backstage pass for the show... If anyone else from fb.net is going to this show, I would like to get together at the show. If you intend to go to the show, drop me a line so we can meet up.

It was a really wonderful show. The setlist didn't vary much from any of the other shows on the tour so far, except I believe this was the first time that Black Rider was played with the full band (they opened the full band set with it). Some of my favorite highlights were two reelers and abstract plain during the acoustic set and 666 and dead man's curve during the electric set.
My only regret was that he aborted california bound.
Some guy in front of me in a blue jacket was taping the show and then got escorted away by security during ten percenter. I saw him reappear later in the set, though. Hopefully he was able to keep the recordings that he got.
Frank seemed pretty talkative throughout, and even bantered with Eric a little bit.
Oh, and Jack Kidney was there too, although I hardly noticed his prescence at all. He did, however, stand out during horrible day, in which he had a great solo. Apparently, he is from Akron, which is quite near where I go to school.
Sorry I can't give the specific setlist, but I'm sure someone else got it. |

Setlist
A Nice Miscellaneous Acoustic Set included holiday song, California Bound (Aborted), The Shrimp Song (He stopped in middle to tell some laughing people that this was a very serious song), Abtract Plain, Two Reelers, and a few others
Full band set as follows:
Black Rider Re-make Re-model Living On Soul Bullet 666 Horrible Day All My Ghosts Gyaneshwar My Terrible Ways Calistan (Markered out on the set list and never played) I'll Be Blue RaiderMan 10 Percenter I Burn Today Headache (On Setlist but not performed) I'm Not Dead (I'm In Pittsburg) Johhny Barleycorn Dead Mans Curve Suffering Burned Out Rock & Roll Been All Around The World Nadine
Encore: Sing For Joy
Which wasn't really an encore... he announced nadine as his last song and made like he was leaving but then whipped out the acoustic real quick like and went right into sing for joy.
It was my little 13 year old sister's first concert. She walked away with a guitar pick from Duane and hugs from both Duane and Billy (She cried when Duane gave her the guitar pick). We never did make it back stage to meet up with FB or EDF... but we all got to meet Reid Paley and his bassist Eric (Upright bassist I might add), who were hanging out in the lobby after the show. And for a couple of guys from Brooklyn, let me tell you, They were so cool to talk to. Reid is a really funny guy. and Eric simply plays a mean upright. I definately saw what Frank sees in them. (Reid told us that he and Frank co-wrote several songs together including Pittsburgh.) The show really really rocked.

<<Two of aspiring rapper Kevin Federline's live performances were cancelled on Monday. [...] Lackluster ticket sales have caused two and possibly three shows to be cancelled. [...] His November 9 gig at House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio has already been scrapped, even though tickets were priced at an affordable $20-$22.>>
Yeah! Frank's more popular than Kevin Federline.

Message to Paul: Hey sorry I went as fast as I could got Charles and came out with Duane jarvis and EDF to sign autographs for you all but they had kicked you out. I even dragged them all out to the entrance to see if you guys were waiting there..Oh well, sorry we will try again next time.
My take on the show: Man I have never seen charles so animated and charged up. He looks great and the band was tight even scott from the numbers band subbing on sax and harmonica fit right in with the rest. 2 reelers was incredible...almost the exact same version he did on his acoustic (wearing the guitars) show. Bullet was tight and flowed well and certainly as scott (billyradcliff) predicted, remake remodel was explosive. The full band Black rider was the perfect concert anthem. But after being the scapegoat who was called out by name for laughing at the song of the shrimp (Charles later apologised to me saying he was just using me as a scapegoat) and breaking into abstract plain I was set for the night. 10%er and johnyy Barleycorn found Charles taking a James Hetfield stance (has anyone else noticed this new pose?) and practically breaking his guitar I was in ecstacy and still am. I asked about swarma and got a shoulder shrug for anyone interested. I wouldnt be surprised to see a catholics reunion (just a hunch from a conversation).Anyone beside the dude who got busted with the coolest little audio video contraption I have ever seen who got photos or audio I would be willng to trade live pixies music for let me know
