Does anyone think a part of Arctic Monkeys' Riot Van sounds like Surf Epic. I can't remember where it is in the song exactly, but you can listen to it at http://www.purevolume.com/arcticmonkeys. Maybe it doesn't, I haven't heard either song in a long time.

I've never heard Surf Epic :(

Riot Van is a good song though.

Surf Epic was used as the intro to Dog In The Sand. I'm not sure if it's the right part, though.

Only part of "Surf Epic" - it is quite long.

Does Surf Epic sound like trite indie schmindie because if it doesn't then the answer is no.

I think it's like that long droaning sort of part in Riot Van that sounds like the same chords or something.

Upon listening to both songs again, I realized that they sound nothing alike whatsoever. I'm not sure why I thought they did.

I think it was something about that part around 1:30 in Riot Van. Maybe not the chords, but the weird sort of phaser thing on the guitar.
