And this is not the Duvel I am drinking right now.... I know that I am as fresh as a dryer sheet here on Fb.net, but in my humble opinion, I really can't help but think that this song could have fallen right off of a John Lennon LP. Alright, I am ready for the verbal abuse that will probably ensue.

Nope, not a fan of that one. I'll vote it off the survivor threads right after Seven Days. Raider Man, now that's a great song.

Of course when you write some very personal lyrics like a confession to your psy, using a mid tempo piano chords progression going from major to minor, AND put some phil spectorish backing vocals... ...it DOES feel lennonian. |

I would have to say shades of 'Jealous Guy'. |

IMO it's The Real El Rey that sounds most like Everytime I Go Round Here.

Great song. Very classy. Took me a while to enjoy it, though.

I'd say 'Fast Man' is on a par with 'Seven Days' as the best song on the whole album.

Fast Man is one of the few songs on the album that I liked straight from the off. Definitely one of the top 5 songs on the album. |

A superb song indeed, but only if your down with Frank's falsetto.

This is my favourite tune on the album.. His falsetto is really starting to come together for sure, or maybe this song actually suits it well. Well done. |

I havent been to the forum since I got my copy of FMRM, and I came today to specifically start a thread about the greatness of Fastman, and lo and behold, there already is one.
Great tune that I can't get out of my head. 7 days is another great, but, Fastman is #1 for me right now. |
