For my birthday, my wife got us two tickets to see The Black Rider this weekend. I'm pretty psyched. Anybody seen it?

floop, i can hardly tell whether you're beamward or otherwise but i usually notice when you're absent for a day or two. for all i know, you've actually "been meanin".

hey erebus, not completely sure what you mean by beamward but if it's a good thing, then i am it.
i do want to check out the play but i have hardly any free time these days and tickets are not cheap. but it seems like something worth seeing.

"beamward" would be a good thing, like "askance", or "skewed", or "off the wall", or "on a tangent". a good thing.

Just got back from the play. I enjoyed it greatly, but not everybody in attendance apparently felt the same way. The place was full at the onset, but as the second act began, there were a bunch of empty seats. It was quite avant-garde. I thought the sets were fantastic, the actors were excellent (particularly their voices... a great job of casting), the music was Tom Waits signature and the dialog was classic William S. Burroughs.
All in all, I'd recommend it. But if you decide it's not for you... you were warned.
