I'm watching Ghostbusters 2 right now.

Bill Murray has some great lines!

I personally wouldn't want there to be a "new" Ghostbusters team; they would have to reunite the entire cast to successfully do a third film. I could concievably see a third film about them as older guys, maybe Peter and Dana Barrett have gotten married and have a kid, etc., but I would never in a million years want them to attach the label "Ghostbuster" to Freddie Prince Jr. wearing a proton pack.

Too bad they won't make the sequel starring these guys:

Ha! That bizarre Ghostbusters was actually how I was introduced to the whole idea of bustin' ghosts. I used to watch the cartoon when I was a wee lad, back in 1987 or so.

It was based on a live-action show called The Ghost Busters that ran in the 70's. So... those two dudes and the ape are the Original Ghostbusters!

Jake, Eddie and Tracey realize Prime Evil's plan and jump into a Skeleton Elevator at Ghost Command that throws them around and pulls them along conveyer belts, culminating in them getting suited up in their Ghostbusters outfits and being dropped into Ghost Buggy

I can recall watching it occasionally, but I far preferred the movie-inspired cartoon version of the Ghostbusters. In fact, I probably spent about $200 (of my family's money) on the toys and accessories when it was popular. (I too was about 7 or 8 back then.) I had the proton pack, the ghost trap, and close to all the action figures and related toys.

The Ghostbusters' Theme could have been a punk rock classic if it had been put in the right mind.

No, VoVat, I didn't have the "Fearsome Flush." I did have Granny Gross, however.

Yeah, I bought the tubs of ecto-plasm too, pixiestu. I hope to God my kids never want anything like that; I can recall it leaving stains on the carpet and my parents hated it.

Don't you love toys that are essentially just colored slime that gets all over everything? I remember when Nickelodeon sold a bunch of those.

The number of Parents who could sue Play-Doh for destroying the couch would probably put the company out of business.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the game zootfly was making, but since last week has been more or less cancelled. I'll try and find a video or some screens of it if i can.

Check it:http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/15/seriously-impressive-ghostbusters-game-in-the-works/

Okay, those videos from youtube were taken down. I saw the one at the top. and it looked very impressive. They were taken down because zootfly didn’t have any official rights to use the ghostbuster franchise
