For anyone who hasn't played Guitar Hero for PS2, you don't know what your missing. Using a guitar peripheral you play songs as the... well, as the guitarist. But now that Guitar Hero 2 is due near the end of the year wouldn't it be the definitive FB experience to bang out a Pixies or FBATCs tune.
Maybe there should be a petition made up, and have it send to RedOctane.

Anyway. What FB songs do you want to see on GH2.
Personally: Announcement, Velouria, or Massif Centrale.

The guitar hero songs probably have to be ones that everyone kinda knows... I would have to go with Los Angeles, or Headache. That's as mainstream as you're gonna get with Frank. Although I would like to see them use All My Ghosts

I could talk myself to death, but I believe I would only waste my breath.

The only songs you've really got a chance of being included in it are Pixies ones, like Debaser or Monkey Gone To Heaven

All My Ghosts would be a good one. I've never actually played the game but my friend tells me it's very good.

I heard that in GH2 there is a multiplayer for up to four players with their guitars. You can play as an actual band. And you can play bass. Sweet!

from what i've seen of guitar hero, it's just another follow the beat game but with a guitar peripheral. you don't actually follow the guitar chords or solos, do you?

There are five coloured fret buttons, a strum bar and a whammy bar. You use these to play the role of the guitarist i the bands. You play chords by holding down two fret buttons at the same time. Solos are in it too. Longer notes can be held down and the whammy bar helps variate the sound of the longer notes. It's not like dance dance revolution or something like that. This is so good it can hurt your fingers.

I'd like to see a video called "Virtual Rock Star", where the player gets to:

-argue with bandmates in the studio
-try and solve the complicated entertainment tax forms
-explain to a drunk and violent audience why you don't know any Molly Hatchet songs
-act cool while a Canadian border agent has two gloved fingers up your ass
-sneak out of It's hotel room in the morning without waking It
-find a laundromat
-load in/out (my favorite!)

It has everything: Music, stealth, fighting, accounting. How could you go wrong.

I think you'll find that pressing buttons is the basis for any video game. And the point of playing the game is that some people might not have the instrumental skill to play an actual song on a real guitar. It's called having fun.

How true, wrenn. I pressed a bunch of buttons on this game called "Resident Evil" and it scared the living shit out of me. I was afraid to open doors that I couldn't see through to the other side for like, 6 months afterwards.

So, one shouldn't underestimate the pressing of buttons.

Bet you didn't even realise you were pressing buttons when you typed that reply, did you?
Yeah, they sneak up on you like that. But i'm watching them.
Wait...now i'm pressing them.

Gee-whiz i'm nutty. (sigh)
