They say nothing about getting them back to Earth though. Maybe they'll just velcro all of these rich wannabe astronauts to some crappy rocket that'd explode once it's out of the earth's atmosphere.

It's not exactly space though is it? Isn't it just high enough to be a bit floaty and then back down?

I read that as "4 virgins will allow people to go into space"
Bur yeah, i dunno, it takes up a huge amount of fuel, so its polluting the environment, draining resources, for what? a few more kicks for rich kids who could spend their money on somehting better |

I heard about this. Isn't it going to be around $100,000 for the flight. Still if i had the money i'd do it. In-flight meals might get a little messy in zero gravity, but, meh!

Yeah, Virgin has a new division, Virgin Galactic. Seriously. They've already got stuff laid out for their spaceport in New Mexico. I thought it was going to be sooner than 4 years, but we'll see.
It may seem a pointless vacation at the moment, but it's a stepping stone to what I consider the future of trans-continental flight. LEO pops. Australia in an hour? Sure!
Plus, if I had that kind of money kicking around, I'd be the first to get on board. Well, maybe I'd let them do two test runs. THEN I would. Like Tre indicated, though, it's a rather low altitude that they hit, I'd prefer higher, but as always, it's a start.
