THE QUICK.

Their one album, released in 1976, is one of the most thrilling pop records I own. Heavily Sparks influenced, funny, and catchy. They were discovered by Kim Fowley and the record is produced by Earle Mankey, whose name is attached to a ton of great eccentric pop music (including early Sparks). If you ever hear this record and don't like it, you're off my Christmas card list. I don't think it's ever been on CD, though.
