Take revenge on all those old cartoons. The story opens with the brutal slaying of Dr. Gargamel by those insidious smurfs. Eliminate them.

I got up to part two and the care bears stared me into oblivion.

Wait, Gargamel has a doctorate? In what?

Possibly cooking? He always wanted to fry up those smurfs...
Actually, I've been suddenly taken with a game called Psychonauts, but then I'm a huge fan of Tim Schafer. I gots ta find this game at the store, such a deliciously warped concept.

Yeah, I just finished playing the demo, big download but good times. Tim Schafer's like one of my gaming heroes, though. Grim Fandango. Full Throttle. And so on.

Yeah, those carebears are tough cookies to crack. The worst are those bloody stars they shoot at you. Though the kamikaze care bears aren't a picnic either. My friend was over for a bit last night and we managed to get to level four. Tough.

Snorkle guys or whatever they're called. Just finished it, actually. I thought the lord of the zombie carebears was hard, yeesh.

After the snork level is a bonus "Kill Lemmings" level, followed by giant sized Mario Brothers charaters level. It's hard. |

Yeah, that Mario level was too tough to the point of almost not being fun. I did finish it finally, though.

The whole game is sort of that way. It's just damn difficult. I do rather like the bad french accent on the weapon voice. That may be my favorite part of the whole game. |

Psychonauts is an absolutely amazing game and probably the first that I've actually bothered to complete in the last year as it kept me gripped right to the end. I have no idea how I failed to notice this game for so long.
Two particular levels in that game still stick in my mind for their sheer brilliance. The Milkman and Black Velvetopia.
The soundtracks great too.
In fact I was so taken with this game that I actually purchased a "Whispering Rock: Psyhic Summer camp T-Shirt from the Doublefine Web shop. <---- What a geek!!

Well, I played the demo to death and I emailed Double Fine because their store was out, pleading my fandom of Tim Schafer and also his unknown fandom of me, and they're mailing me a European copy. Can't wait!
Have you played his stuff with LucasArts? Excellent games, all of them. Grim Fandango is probably tops my list as best adventure game ever. Such an epic!
