As usual, you have to be kidding me, but anyway: vote and discuss here.
I'm with what I predict floop will say - the D-O-G with Gin & Juice

""Planet earth is blue and there's nothing I can do" "
Bowie was on fire when he wrote that.

I think I'd go with The Beatles - A Day in the Life or Radiohead - No Surprises

"So you go, And you stand on your own, And you leave on your own, And you go home, And you cry, And you want to die"
I'm voting for this because it makes me laugh however largely I am disgusted by the list and am especially disgusted by the absent Kanye West "Now I ain't sayin' she a gold digger- But she ain't messin' wit no broke niggaz" lyric. |

"To die by your side is such a heavenly way to die", easy! Loads from great songs, but some of the lyrics mentioned aren't the best examples IMO. I could think of better.
Who said anything about carving you up, man? I just wanted to carve a Z into your forehead... |

Personally I think all of these polls are pointless and just try to gather up hit points to further promote mtv.

What I look for in lyrics is really bad grammar. |

I coudln't believe this poll when I saw the adverts on TV. They are scraping the barrel now, and you just know the winner will be a bag of shite.
If I had to vote then it would be one of the Radiohead songs.
What the hell is that Jay-Z song doing on there? Oh yeah great lyrics these "I got 99 problems but my bitch aint one"
Nice one Mr Z, that should make Beyonce's dad love you now.
I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place

You think?
I'd side with Le Moz as well, probably There Is A Light.
Out of that list anyway - no idea what I'd select otherwise, probably some Kristin Hersh.

I haven't looked at the list yet, but I would imagine Andy Partridge isn't on there. Of course, he SHOULD be.
