The new Yeah Yeah Yeah's album is already floating around the internet, even if it's not supposed to be the mastered or something.
Have you heard it? What do you guys think?

On first listen, I'm pleasantly surprised. It's more interesting than their first one, even if it doesn't have a song that can rival "maps". It also seems not to have many over the top rocking songs (and Karen O' manic moments), which I actually was wishing for.

I really had high expectations for this new one, and I'm so glad they're being surpassed.

Does anyone know when it'll be in stores?

I just heard the song called "Dudley" which is really good IMO, and really different than the songs from the first LP, indeed (and I agree with you, I think that it's a good thing they're not going to repeat themselves with this new record). I heard that it was supposed to be released by the end of March.

I can't f'ing wait.

I love pretty much everything this band has done, including Golden Lion.

I am having trouble getting much else that is new.

I have the Live At The Fillmore DVD which has lots of unheard stuff on it. I don't think any of it is gonna make the new album though. I think they considered it too similar in sound to Fever To Tell. Still really good stuff though.

I look forward to playing new stuff at my club night. I will stick with Machine for now though.

Gold Lion is good if unimpressive at first, but those hoo hoo's are awesome.
