BTW, does anyone know what the 'My name is Gary' song is suposed to be? In the site, it gives songwriting credits to both Frank and Joey. And by the number of it, it seems like it was written a couple of years ago... Could it be one song for a film soundtrack or something?

Producer has a question.

I have looked at the BMI site and "In The Time Of My Ruin" has no cowriter listed. Up top Matto has Reid Paley credited as cowriter.

I can ask the individuals involved, but I suggest Matto checks the BMI database again and post the results. Just a suggestion.

Yep, it looks good for the 27-song 2-cd set. At a special price.

bye,
Jon Tiven

Jon, what about the songs that weren't used for Honeycomb? Are they all going to be in the 27 song list?

Has Frank Poped up, I 'd like to ask him if he knows Deerhoof, Old Time Relijun and Danielson Famile. These are great american bands that might be seen as a decent filiation to his work. More subtle than Placebo, I mean.

Yay, at least 'Where the wind is going' will be in there. Thank you very much Mr. Tiven, for all these little pieces of info.
Now if only Mr. Ken 'I hate Kiss my ring' Goes would listen to reason...

Kiss My Ring is the best of the 5 Honeycomb leftovers IMO. Although I didn't like much the organ solo.

My bad, Kiss My Ring is in there. I believe the remix doesn't include an organ solo, fyi. We aim to please.

Have confirmed "In The Time Of My Ruin" has no cowriter. There are three Reid Paley cowrites on the new opus, due out June 20 (May was too optimistic, sorry). List price should be under $20.

bye,
Jon Tiven

In the other thread "New Album Is Here" there is mention of a song titled: END OF SUMMER.
Does anyone know exactly what that is supposed to be - is it a cover maybe?

"End of the Summer" was formerly known as "the Sicilian", it is for all intents an FB original although it incorporates some music from a classical composer who was, I believe, Sicilian...
