Ha. I was in South America last year and came across a kool-aide like drink mix that advertised itself "Sabor a tuna!" (Tuna-flavored!)
I like Bloody Mary's, but not with Clamato. I like these better than Bloody Mary's, for the serious only:
Yucatan-Style Sangrita
Ingredients a la thebar.com
• 1.5 oz. Don Julio Añejo Tequila
• 1 28 oz. can of tomatoes
• 1 cup orange juice
• .03 cup lime juice
• 1 slice white onion
• 1 seeded green chile
• 1 tsp. sugar
• .25 tsp. hot pepper sauce
• 1 wedge lime
................................................................................
Preparation
• Add tomatoes, orange juice, lime juice, white onion, green chile, sugar, and hot pepper sauce in a blender
• Blend until smooth and pour enough to fill a tequila shot glass
• Add Don Julio Añejo Tequila to another tequila shot glass
• Garnish with lime wedge

| No need to be nice to us Americans. Canadians are Americans too, though. Just not USAmericans. I was schooled on that by a Canadian in a bar one night. In fact, I've spent a few nights in bars where I've ended up talking to Canadians. They are better at drinking, I think. Y'all aren't allowed in at www.thebar.com though. Though... security ain't all that tight. ;) |
