Do we have somewhere where we've listed all the little things in FB and Pixies songs that you have probably missed listening to the records? It'd be nice to have all that in one place. If so, could you post the link? If not, I'll start the ball rolling:

Pixies
All Over The World [0:43] - Frank says "Everybody Rock Out"

"If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate."

this here thread was made partly out of a little joke between me and the oldman (and I) and contains a few things we picked up on. But as you can see, that one's best left in the past.

Pardon my French.

Right... bofoors! Incidentally, I want to invent a different word for that. OK, here's the list extracted from there, more or less:

Frank Black and the Catholics

All My Ghosts - the Green Acres ditty at the start of the very first Catholic record is the most obvious bofoor we have. And the best bofoor ever(!) Fer sure!

Solid Gold - we have a little sniffle from the man at the end of the song, just after the feedback dies. And with tape still rolling we hear Scott's little drum roll.

Suffering - we got a quick lick then "are you ready?" for frank, who replies "Yeah!".

The Man Who Was Too Loud - "though he loved to rock and roll...ah, i better not."

Pistolero

I Love Your Brain - not a bofoor, but Scott hits the high hat during the guitar solo intro then stops as if he shouldn't be playing yet, then rejoins with the bass.

Smoke Up - again no bofoor (thread now well and truly debased), but during the last "got to make something work out" there's a noise(*) that sounds similar to the buzz made when touching the end of a guitar lead that's plugged into an amp.

(between "got * to" and some * thing)

Dog In The Sand

Robert Onion - the little ditty before main intro riff, and i'm sure Dave.P could have played out the end riff forever. Nice feedback noises at the very end. At ~3:05 in to the song, you can hear someone count off "1,2,3,4" but you have to turn it up to 11 to hear the "1,2..." the "3,4..." is obvious at a lesser volume.

Bullet - obvious bofoor with the "Alright!" at the very start, then the band jam with FB's chit-chat

Hermaphroditos - there's a drum fill towards the end of the outro jam (4:02) that usually drummers do to let the band know to end the song, but the rest of the Catholics carry on, so Scott does too. You can hear someone shout "Ay!" then they eventually stop.

Misc

Take What You Want - the first sound you hear at the beginnig is the guitar and Frank says "Jimmy (?) Chimey (?) shimmy (?).

Do Nothing - At the end, Frank says, "Quick tune for me, sorry"

A Dab'll Do Ya - At 2:28, The Man appears to give his approval of this take by saying, "OK".

Ahh, yes, the "Bofoors" that are contained in some of Frank's released recordings, which in my opinion
make those live-to-2 track recordings even more special.

Sure, COF, you can invent a new word for that if you want to. But, just to set the record straight,
that was Rich Gilbert that invented that term:

Did you read my review of your April 7th Family Wash Show with Joshua?
Tell me about the history of your “Sho-Bud” Pro I and your “Pack-a-Seat”?
There are some great pictures posted of you,and your “Sho-Bud” Pro I, and one catalogue picture of just the “Sho-Bud” here at FB.net "Rich Gilbert Show Review, Chat and Photos".
Is there a formal or informal name for the pre-song and post-song (not really part of the song, just warm-up or cool-down?) guitar licks and chords that are left on the final recordings of some of FB&TheC’s songs such as the beginning of “Down in the Hole” and the end of “Take What You Want”?[emphasis added]

Yep I saw it and read it thanks. I got the Sho Bud in Canada after all of the Catholics stuff was ripped off in Philadelphia. I got the seat at the same time, you need to have a pack a seat if you play pedal steel, it's just the way it is. Otherwise you're not a pedal steel player. The Sho Bud is from the mid 70's, a great era for Sho Buds, they look and work and sound great.
No nobody has come up with a name for the bofoor and after song stuff. Does it need it? [emphasis added]
